I hope you and your child enjoyed a good summer! I have had a busy, fun summer, and I am ready to begin a new school year. I am so excited that your child is a part of my 4th grade class this year! I will be your child’s Reading/Language Arts/Social Studies teacher. Mrs. Melissa Taylor will be their Math & Science teacher. This is starting my 22nd year of teaching. I have taught the following grades: 3rd, 4th, 5th, & 6th. I have been at JBES my whole career except my first year. I have four children who have all been Jo Byrns students. I love llamas, alpacas, reading, spending time with my family, & shopping at my favorite stores: TJ Maxx & Burkes. I will take care of your child here at school as my own.
