Mrs.
Moore, Mrs. Willson and their staff want to extend a warm welcome to
you! Our desire is that you will experience an excitement for learning
as you navigate our school web site.
Our school is offering to
provide a positive and successful learning experience for all students.
We also offer a safe and orderly environment with lots of tender loving
care for your student.
You are personally invited to help us celebrate our accomplishments.
Mrs. Moore grew up and went to school Kindergarten through 12th
grade in Cleveland, TN. She received her B.S. degree in Psychology as
well as her Masters of Education in Elementary Education from the
University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. She received her
Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene
University in Nashville, TN. She has taught first grade at Halls
Elementary School in Knoxville, TN, 6th grade math and social
studies at Springfield Middle School and has been the assistant
principal at Jo Byrns Elementary before becoming the principal. Mrs.
Moore stated, “I am honored to be a part of the Jo Byrns community. It
is a joy to come to school each day and work with the amazing faculty,
staff, and students we have at Jo Byrns. It is my goal to help students
and teachers to journey beyond expected success!”
Mrs.
Willson attended Coopertown Elementary and graduated from Springfield
High School. She received her B.S. degree in Elementary Education from
Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. She received
her Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Bethel
University in McKenzie, TN. She has taught 4th grade at Krisle
Elementary and 3rd grade at Coopertown Elementary before coming to Jo
Byrns Elementary as assistant principal. Mrs. Willson stated, "I am
very excited about this journey and I know that working in this
community will be very rewarding. I am here to support teachers and
students to reach their goals and create success. I definitely believe
our school can make a difference in your student's academic
achievement."
