School Administration
Jo Byrns is dedicated to developing a safe, supportive, and exciting learning environment for all students. Our goal is for our faculty and staff to work collaboratively so that our students will journey beyond expected success. Leading this mission will be our administrative team of Mrs. Megan Keyes and Mrs. Alisa Holmes.
Both administrators are humbled and honored to be at Jo Byrns Elementary School. They value the strong community support and traditions already in place. Mrs. Keyes and Mrs. Holmes are eager to begin cultivating relationships and striving for excellence in all endeavors.

Megan Keyes
Mrs. Keyes brings 8 years of experience in education to her role as principal. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Austin Peay University. Later, she returned to graduate school at Union University and earned her Masters in Educational Leadership during 2018.
Alisa Holmes
Mrs. Holmes supports her role as assistant principal with 18 years of experience in education. Her collegiate background includes a 2004 Bachelor’s Degree from Tennessee State University in Elementary Education. She added a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership in 2018, and finally earned an Ed.S in School Reform from Union University in 2021.
